Timetable for Applying for refund, and Items to Be Noted

Refund takes the form of tiered refund delivery in the first third, middle third, and last third of the month, divided according to the dates of your reservation.


First third (Dates of stay the 1-10 of the month), refund and related evaluation shall begin to be processed on the 11th of the month.

Middle third (Dates of stay the 11-20 of the month), refund and related evaluation shall begin to be processed on the 21 of the month.

Last third (Dates of stay the 21 of the month to the end of month), refund and related evaluation shall begin to be processed on the 1st of the next month.

From the beginning of refund proceedings to the completion of refund, 2 to 4 weeks are needed.

 

Example:

Scheduled date of stay is July 20.

I. Cancellation due to natural disasters or other non-human instigated reasons. 

1.If the date when the application for refund is made is before July 10, then it shall be processed in the middle third of the month.

2.If the date when the application for refund is made is between July 11 to 20, it shall be processed in the middle third of the month.

3.If the date when the application for refund is made is after July 21, then it shall be included in the next third of the month according to the date when you applied for refund.  
  
(Example: If application for refund is made between July 21 to 31, then refund shall be processed from August 1.

If application for refund is made between August 1 - 10, then refund shall be processed from August 11, and so on.)


4.Cancellations of reservation due to natural disasters or other non-human-instigated reasons may receive full refund.

II. Cancellations due to personal reasons not related to natural disasters and other non-human-instigated reasons. 

1.Refund shall be processed according to the previous two items.

2.The latest date by which cancellation and refund may be made is one day before the date of stay (July 19).

3.Seven days before the date of stay (inclusive) (July 14 to 19), 50% of fees paid shall be refunded.

4.If request for refund is made more than seven days before the date of stay (July 13), full refund shall be made.

5.Applications for refund shall not be accepted on the date of stay or after the date of stay.

 

In order to increase processing speed, please fill out the accurate bank information (Bank name, Branch name, Branch code, and account number; please fill in the brand code, 0021, for Chunghwa Post, and the name of the branch may be filled out simply by the name of the post office where the account was opened.) Please fill out information according to the data on your passbook, and not the information on your IC card, because some financial institutions have discrepancies between the information on their passbooks and their financial IC cards.
